Scrip is retail fundraising. Funds are earned for the church just by your normal shopping without costing you a penny extra! The more members and friends of The Met use Scrip Gift Cards the more we earn to support our ministries. Even using Scrip Gift Cards in small amounts makes a big difference as they add up.
To learn how you can participate in this fundraising activity or contact Fred Ihler. During our sheltering-in-place, the Bookstore is closed, but Fred is glad to provide or order Scrip for you.
Scrip is simply gift cards, available for hundreds of retailers at which you shop for dining, groceries, home improvement, gas, and much more. A percentage of each gift card purchase comes back to the church. Then, use the gift card as you normally would at its full value. It's that simple! It's a win, win.
We also earn rebates from Ralphs and Food4Less that are paid to MCC San Diego quarterly.
Scrip is used on a regular basis to lend support to Hospitality, our LGBT Pride outreach, Pastors Benevolence Fund, Feed My Sheep and other church ministries. Please get in the Scrip/Gift Card habit and assist us in supporting the ministries of MCC San Diego.
