The Building & Grounds Ministry ensures that the church facility remains in good working condition, handling everything from routine maintenance to major renovations. Volunteers manage tasks like changing lightbulbs, plumbing repairs, and scheduling inspections, while overseeing contracted work for larger projects. The Community Outreach & Marketing Ministry works to engage the wider community through various events and activities, while also expanding the church's online presence and digital outreach. We package balanced, filling meals and distribute them to whoever knocks on our door - no questions asked.  This ministry allows us to directly feed and build meaningful relationships with people in need in our community.  If you would like to contribute, this ministry is supported through donations of non-perishable food items and gifts from our Amazon wish list. Recycling turns collected recyclables into financial support for various church ministries. Every Sunday, materials are gathered and converted into cash, helping to fund programs that serve both the church and the wider community. This simple yet impactful effort promotes sustainability while contributing to the church’s mission.

The Met is a founding partner of Uptown Community Service Center, a non-profit organization in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego that provides services to over 2,000 homeless and very-low income persons each year.  We collect donated items for Uptown in the blue bin in our foyer.
